Job summary

Assurit in Fairfax, VA seeks an Enterprise Interface Specialist to support a DoD/DAF FIAR data quality initiative. You will analyze end-to-end transaction flows, identify interface breakpoints, and translate findings into actionable interface requirements for government stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in systems integration, strong documentation, and effective communication to non-technical audiences. An active or interim secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in information systems, CS, engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting systems integration, interface analysis, or enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience tracing transactions across enterprise systems and analyzing APIs, interfaces, file transfers, and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system deep-dive sessions with system owners and stakeholders.
• Analyze and trace end-to-end transaction flows across enterprise systems and interfaces.
• Identify interface breakpoints, failed transactions, manual workarounds, and data handoff gaps.
• Document interface owners, business rules, dependencies, control points, and system interactions.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable interface requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain traceability between business needs, system behavior, and interface requirements.
