Job summary

Assurit seeks an experienced Enterprise Interface Specialist to support a Department of the Air Force FIAR data quality initiative. You will analyze end-to-end transaction flows, identify interface gaps, and translate findings into actionable interface requirements.

You will collaborate with project teams, system owners, SMEs, and government stakeholders to improve traceability, reduce risks, and support audit readiness. Remote work is preferred for the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in systems integration, interface analysis, or related initiatives.
• Experience tracing transactions across enterprise systems.
• Experience analyzing APIs, interfaces, file transfers, and data flows.
• Experience documenting interface requirements and data mappings.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system deep-dive sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyze and trace end-to-end transaction flows across enterprise systems.
• Identify interface breakpoints, failed transactions, and data handoff gaps.
• Document interface owners, business rules, dependencies, and interactions.
• Translate findings into clear, testable interface requirements.
• Maintain traceability between business needs, interface requirements, and defects.
• Prepare issue summaries, risk assessments, and recommendations for executives.
• Coordinate with project teams, SMEs, and government stakeholders.
• Maintain action registers, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Support milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
