Job summary

Veracity is hiring an Enterprise Insurance Systems Manager to own the insurance business systems and lead a team of administrators. This remote role reports to the Sr.

Manager of Enterprise Technology & Information Security and focuses on adoption, data quality, and customer experience across AMS360 and related tools. You will collaborate with underwriting, service, and compliance stakeholders to distinguish configuration problems from workflow or regulatory issues, driving measurable business

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the vision for the insurance-systems portfolio with a 6–12 month roadmap.
• Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and change decisions within the portfolio.
• Manage, coach, and develop the admin team starting with AMS360.
• Own the systems register and drive adoption based on business value and risk.
• Run a single intake process for system requests across three companies.
• Ensure uptime, access controls, change calendar, and audit readiness.
• Oversee renewals, licenses, SLAs, and vendor performance with Finance and Legal.
• Partner with InfoSec/GRC on least-privilege access and SOC 2 evidence.
• Coordinate with Delivery & Automation on integrations and runbooks.

Enterprise Insurance Systems Manager is an experienced and business-minded role to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Technology & Information Security, this remote role owns the insurance business systems Veracity runs on and leads the team of administrators behind them. Success is measured in business outcomes – adoption, cycle time, data quality, and customer experience – not ticket counts. They must understand the insurance business itself well enough to know when a system limitation is a configuration problem versus a workflow problem versus a compliance problem, and be able to make that call credibly with underwriting, service, and compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and drive the vision for the insurance-systems portfolio – publish and maintain a 6–12 month roadmap tied to company priorities and run structured feedback loops with sales, service, operations, and marketing leaders so the systems demonstrably solve business problems
• Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and change decisions within the portfolio – recommend lifecycle, vendor, and spend decisions to the Sr. Manager with clear options, costs, and impacts – and elevate cross-pillar changes or anything touching enterprise security or compliance standards
• Manage, coach, and develop the admin team – set goals, run one-on-ones, and build cross-training so no platform depends on a single person, starting with AMS360
• Own the systems register for the portfolio – drive adopt, expand, replace, and retire recommendations based on business value, risk, total cost of ownership, and user adoption
• Run a single intake process for system requests across the three companies, with a visible backlog and priorities set against business outcomes
• Own uptime, access controls, configuration standards, a change calendar with risk-based approvals, and audit readiness for the portfolio
• Own renewals, license optimization, SLAs, and vendor performance reviews for portfolio vendors – negotiate with Finance and Legal support
• Partner with InfoSec/GRC and the Risk Manager on least-privilege access, data handling, insurance-regulatory requirements, and SOC 2 evidence for these systems
• Coordinate with the Delivery & Automation team on integrations and automation – safeguard data quality across systems and keep configuration and runbook documentation current as a standard, not an afterthought
• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years owning or administering enterprise SaaS platforms – CRM, agency/policy management, or ERP class – with demonstrated accountability for business outcomes, not administration alone
• 2+ years directly managing people: hiring, coaching, and developing platform administrators or analysts
• Track record turning competing stakeholder demands into a prioritized roadmap and shipping measurable improvements
• Vendor, license, and budget management experience
• Technical fluency – comfortable with integrations, APIs, reporting and data tools, and automation concepts
• Clear written communication and documentation disciplineli>
• Working knowledge of the full insurance policy lifecycle and how each stage – quote, bind, endorse, renew, cancel, claims – generates data, documents, and handoffs that agency management systems must support cleanly
• Familiarity with agency operations across distribution models including MGA, wholesale brokerage, retail agency, and InsurTech – and how carrier relationships, compliance obligations, and licensing requirements shape how these systems are configured

Preferred

• Insurance industry experience – agency, brokerage, MGA, carrier, or insurtech; candidates who understand insurance workflows and terminology will rank first
• Hands-on AMS360 or a comparable agency management system
• HubSpot or Salesforce-class CRM certification
• Formal change-management exposure such as ITIL or equivalent
• Experience across multiple distribution models – MGA, wholesale, retail, or InsurTech – as Veracity's system needs vary meaningfully by division
• Familiarity with surplus lines filing or insurance licensing workflows, or willingness to partner closely with Compliance and Licensing functions on system requirements tied to those processes

Compensation Range:

$125k/yr - $145k/yr
