Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Head of Capacity Planning and Performance Engineering to guide infrastructure and application layers across the stack. You will lead a skilled team, drive end-to-end capacity planning, and provide technical leadership across OS, databases, JVM performance, and large-scale systems.

This role emphasizes cost optimization, proactive incident prevention, and collaboration with Architecture, SRE, DevOps, and Application teams to shape scalable designs.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, capacity management, performance engineering, or SRE with 3+ years of management experience.
• In-depth hands-on leadership across multiple technology stacks.
• Deep expertise in Windows/Linux, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB), and JVM performance tuning.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, virtualization, and observability tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SRE, and DevOps frameworks.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with ITIL, SRE, and DevOps frameworks
