Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Systems Analyst to manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure. Primary focus on Windows Server OS lifecycle with secondary Red Hat Linux support, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability for the County’s enterprise IT environment.

The role covers OS install, security hardening, AD, DNS, GPO, and storage/backup considerations, with opportunities to work with VMware vCenter, Cisco UCS, Dell hardware, and F5

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of enterprise-level systems administration experience.
• Experience administering Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
• Experience with Windows DNS and Group Policy; security baselines and hardening.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support OS software and configurations.
• Manage OS security baselines and hardening.
• Maintain Windows failover clusters and AD/DNS.
• Oversee end point security and policy enforcement.
• Capacity planning and upgrades for enterprise systems.
• Support virtualization and HA infrastructure.
