Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking an Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure to shape strategy and governance for infrastructure and cloud across the organization. This role leads the development and management of hybrid, public, and private cloud capabilities, data centers, networks, and platforms, ensuring security, resiliency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis, mathematics or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines including architecture.
• Exposure to multiple technologies, platforms and processing environments.
• Understanding of strategic trends and agile adoption in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture standards and guardrails.
• Lead architecture direction for hybrid, public, and private cloud, data centers, networks, and observability.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps to modernize legacy platforms and improve resiliency.
• Create patterns and reference architectures for landing zones, automation, disaster recovery, and operational support.
• Provide leadership across IT, security, enterprise architecture, and vendor teams to translate business needs into capabilities.
• Guide complex initiatives like cloud migration, platform modernization, and platform enablement.
