Job summary

SPHERE co is seeking an Implementation Engineer to deploy, configure, integrate, and validate SPHEREboard in enterprise customer environments. You will collaborate with stakeholders to move implementations from discovery to production readiness and handoff, while maintaining security and data integrity.

The role requires hands-on systems administration, troubleshooting, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, application implementation, professional services, or enterprise technical support.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with enterprise customers on technical deployments, integrations, upgrades, or complex issue resolution.
• Windows Server and Linux/UNIX administration knowledge, including services, permissions, file systems, logs, and CLI troubleshooting.
• Identity and directory technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, or Okta; understanding IAM concepts.
• Enterprise networking and security fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, ports and firewalls, proxies, TLS, certificates, service accounts.
• SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting in relational databases.
• Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar to automate tasks.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and validate SPHEREboard components including services, connectors, agents, and data collectors.
• Integrate SPHEREboard with directory services, identity platforms, databases, cloud platforms, and other data sources.
• Follow approved scope and change-management processes to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end across identity, networks, and applications; isolate root causes and collaborate with teams.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation, runbooks, and validation evidence.
• Provide customer admin training and knowledge transfer for reliable handover after deployment.
