Job summary

Genexsystems is seeking a GIS Developer to support NASA's Enterprise GIS initiatives in a hybrid role based in Virginia. The position focuses on ESRI toolset integration, low/no-code apps, and CI/CD within enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ESRI Enterprise/Online, experience with Experience Builder and Survey123, and strong Python/arcPy skills. This role emphasizes collaboration with remote teams and modern software delivery practices.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in ESRI Enterprise/Online environments.
Experience with Experience Builder, Survey123, and webhooks.
3+ years designing programming applications from requirements to execution.
2+ years designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software.
1+ years experience using Python, arcPy, or a combination of the two.

Responsibilities

GIS system operations, maintenance and enhancement in an Enterprise Portal Environment; generally working within the ESRI Ecosystem;
Design of applications through the full lifecycle of development: requirements gathering, planning, design, development, testing, documentation, and release focusing on low/no-code applications from the ESRI suite;
Design and code documentation, wire framing, visualization of application workflows;
Requirements definition; working with clients and customers to identify requirements and providing effective solutioning recommendations;
Multiple application design project management; must be comfortable managing multiple workflows at once;
Research, test, build, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements;
Addresses systems integration and compatibility across multiple platforms;
Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements;
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management;
Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools;
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements; and
Create and maintain Metadata
