Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Gen AI Principal Architect to lead the enterprise AI strategy, governance, and platform direction. You will drive large-scale transformations across AWS and Azure, shaping the intelligence layer and ensuring secure, compliant deployment of GenAI and agentic capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline preferred.
• Ten (10+) years of related, progressive experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, or large-scale solution architecture.
• Seven (7+) years leading delivery and/or architecture of enterprise-scale GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI capabilities in complex corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Owns and sets the enterprise Generative AI and Agentic AI architecture vision and multi-year roadmap, aligning to strategy and risk posture.
• Chairs or co-leads executive architecture and AI governance forums, establishing decision rights and guardrails.
• Directs the enterprise “intelligence layer” strategy with reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Defines and governs the agentic AI platform blueprint, including deployment and lifecycle management of agents on AWS/Azure.
• Establishes enterprise patterns for multi-agent orchestration, reasoning, tool-use, memory, and human-in-the-loop controls.
