Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in freight brokerage/third-party logistics with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of truckload brokerage: dry van, flatbed, and step deck freight.
• Experience with pricing, carrier negotiation, and market intelligence.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and pricing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and ongoing development of the enterprise freight brokerage function.
• Oversee brokered freight execution and ensure consistent processes and controls.
• Develop and improve customer-facing pricing for standard-dimension freight.
• Monitor market conditions and use data to support pricing and profitability.
• Manage carrier procurement, onboarding, and performance management.
• Establish KPIs for revenue, margin, and efficiency.
