Job summary

Ford in the United States is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead and support month-end close, financial statement preparation, and internal controls. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Tax to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate reporting using S4 Hana Public Cloud.

The role includes production incentive accounting, tax data gathering, and process improvements using advanced Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA/CIA/CFA/CMA certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls; detail-oriented.
• Proficient with ERP systems, MS Office; advanced Excel; familiarity with analytical tools like Alteryx and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes in line with GAAP.
• Develop and review monthly financial statements and reconciliation.
• Assist with ad hoc reports from S4 Hana Public Cloud.
• Serve as accounting SME in cross-functional activities with Operations Finance and central accounting.
• Support production incentives tracking for tax credits and regulatory compliance.
• Assist tax-related activities including data collection for tax liability and compliance.
