Job summary

Archer is seeking a senior FP&A professional in San Jose to lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, collaborate with senior management, and drive insights across finance and product teams.

You will refine data systems, design KPI frameworks, and deliver executive reports and board materials. Expertise in Adaptive Planning and SAP, with strong Excel modeling, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance or related field.
• Strong Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
• Experience supporting R&D, engineering, or product development in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FP&A software (Adaptive) and ERP systems (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and budgeting process with senior management and business groups.

• Maintain knowledge of ERP systems such as Adaptive Planning and SAP.

• Lead planning and budgeting process for the assigned teams by collaborating with senior management and business groups to design, track and measure annual operating and financial plan
• Refine data systems and tools to track performance, provide reporting solutions and enhance operational insights
• Collaborate with the business stakeholders to provide analytical rigor and evaluate strategic initiatives
• Create and monitor KPIs to measure performance against key financial objectives
• Create internal & external executive reporting documents including board, financial close and other management presentations
• Partner with other cross functional teams to implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial data analytics
• Deploy data visualization dashboards via BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio etc
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and ERP systems such as Adaptive Planning, SAP etc
