Job summary

Link Solutions, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) to support DoDIN cybersecurity and NETCOM missions at Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will engineer, integrate, and sustain enterprise SIEM solutions enabling proactive defense and mission assurance.

Join a multidisciplinary team collaborating with Government and contractor personnel to deliver secure, scalable cyber capabilities. This role influences enterprise cyber operations and the Army’s security posture.

Qualifications

• IAT Level III certification or equivalent (SecurityX/CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline.
• Eight or more years of relevant technical experience in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or network operations.
• Experience with Internet, web, application, and network security technologies.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Elastic and enterprise SIEM technologies.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing technical reports, system design plans, and information security documentation.
• Proficiency with Linux, virtualization, and security information and event management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver provisioning documentation and technical implementation packages.
• Conduct technical research to address mission requirements.
• Utilize Linux, VMware, and SIEM platforms to support daily activities.
• Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and Government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers as directed.
• Drive timely completion of projects while adapting to priorities.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across cybersecurity and infrastructure.
• Support planning, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of U-SIEM capabilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and engineering artifacts.
• Support security monitoring, event management, and threat detection activities.
• Assist with enterprise architecture planning and modernization efforts.
• Participate in systems testing, validation, and performance optimization.

Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) to join our team in Fort Huachuca, AZ.

The Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) will support the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) program, providing enterprise engineering expertise to the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

You will be responsible for engineering, integrating, and sustaining enterprise SIEM solutions that enable proactive cyber defense, strengthen situational awareness, and protect critical network infrastructure supporting Army missions worldwide. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cybersecurity capabilities.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise cyber operations and make a meaningful impact on the Army's security posture and mission success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and deliver provisioning documentation and technical implementation packages for fielding activities.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to address emerging technology challenges and mission requirements.
• Utilize Linux operating systems, VMware virtualization technologies, and SIEM platforms to support daily engineering and operational activities.
• Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and Government stakeholders to ensure mission objectives and deliverables are achieved.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and coordinate with customers as directed by project and technical leadership.
• Drive timely completion of assigned projects and tasks while adapting to evolving mission priorities and requirements.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructure environments.
• Support enterprise planning, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities for U-SIEM capabilities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering artifacts, system designs, implementation plans, and configuration records.
• Support cybersecurity operations through security monitoring, event management, log aggregation, and threat detection activities.
• Assist with enterprise architecture planning and capability modernization efforts supporting NETCOM requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams within a distributed enterprise environment.
• Participate in systems testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Support virtualization infrastructure, systems integration, and enterprise platform management initiatives.
• Provide technical recommendations and engineering solutions that improve system security, scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, virtualization technologies, and security information and event management platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Computing Environment (CE) Certification such as RHCSA, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CCNA Cybersecurity, or equivalent/higher-level certification.
• Experience supporting U.S. Army, NETCOM, DoD Cyber, or Federal cybersecurity operations environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise SIEM implementations, security monitoring, and log management platforms.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience supporting VMware virtualization infrastructure and enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, ACAS, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed enterprise networks and cybersecurity programs.
• Experience developing technical design documentation and implementation plans.
• Ability to work effectively within geographically dispersed engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and enterprise-scale cybersecurity operations.
