Job summary

Ace Sanitary is seeking a Corporate Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead enterprise EHS strategy across its manufacturing locations. The role partners with executives and site leaders to prevent incidents, strengthen compliance, and embed EHS accountability into daily decisions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of manufacturing EHS leadership, deep OSHA and environmental regulatory expertise, and a track record of building scalable governance, auditing, and data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing across multiple sites.
• Hands-on OSHA and environmental compliance experience including permitting, hazardous waste, air, water, stormwater, chemical reporting, and DOT requirements.
• Demonstrated success with EHS audits, incident investigations, corrective-action systems, regulatory submissions, and data governance.
• Strong systems thinking, regulatory judgment, and data-analysis capability.
• Ability to influence executives and site leaders with clarity and respect; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop the company-wide EHS strategy and governance for multiple manufacturing locations.
• Build and maintain a risk-based compliance system with audits, registers, calendars, and corrective-action tracking.
• Interpret evolving federal, state, and local requirements and guide regulatory interactions.
• Lead risk assessments and investigations to identify root causes and organization-wide lessons.
• Establish EHS review requirements for new equipment, chemicals, and processes before startup.
• Set and test company requirements for emergency preparedness and response across sites.
• Coach site EHS professionals and foster governance for safety committees.
• Own EHS data governance, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting protocols.
