Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to provide Tier I/II support for our watchfloor in a 24x7/365 environment. You will act as the primary link between service providers and users, performing triage, incident logging, and escalation as needed.

The role demands strong Linux, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment experience, plus Security+ and CCNA certifications. A Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS; four years' related experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in deploying software and systems across Linux; 24x7 support mindset.
• Must have modern DevSecOps practices and cloud deployments.
• CCNA and Security+ required; poly clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for watchfloor in 24x7/365 ops, acting as SPOC.

Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer responsible for providing Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor capability within a 24×7/365 operational environment. You'll operate as single point of contact (SPOC) between the service provider and operational users, capturing, logging, categorizing, and prioritizing all incidents via a standardized ticketing system; Tier I/II personnel will cover the watch floor if not elsewhere. Perform initial diagnosis using established knowledge bases and incident models. Attempt first-contact resolution for standard issues (password resets, account access, basic navigation, known errors). Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II support via functional escalation procedures. Maintain incident status communication with users throughout the resolution lifecycle. Document all troubleshooting steps and resolution actions to populate and expand the knowledge base. Provide 24/7/365 coverage via rotating 12 hour shifts (0500 and 1700 daily), aligning with 2 week rotation schedules.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. May substitute four years' experiencein lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS

Required skills

• Four (4) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization
