Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) seeks a Data Architect to design, mature, and scale enterprise data products powering analytics and AI across the organization. You will translate complex business problems into reusable data models and governed assets that form trusted data foundations for enterprise decisions.

You will partner with Data Engineers, Analytics Leaders, and business stakeholders to set standards, ensure data quality, and drive data products from concept to delivery in a scalable,

Qualifications

• Experience in data modeling for analytics and reporting workloads.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL against cloud data warehouses.
• Ability to communicate data architecture concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Experience translating business models into coherent data models and reusable data products.
• Exposure to data quality and observability practices.
• Familiarity with data transformation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve enterprise data products and data models.
• Translate business problems into reusable data models and governed data assets.
• Collaborate to define data modeling standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, BI Developers, and stakeholders to ensure usable, scalable data products.
• Mature data foundations by identifying data gaps and prioritizing improvements.
• Support AI-ready data architecture with well-governed data layers.
