Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data governance concepts including data management, storage, record linkage, and analysis.
• Experience creating KPIs and metrics for data initiatives to measure governance progress.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to implement data standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements data governance initiatives to improve data quality across DC Government.
• Analyzes data governance processes and systems for improvements.
• Monitors compliance with data governance policies, including DC Data Policy for AI/ML.
• Collaborates with agencies to guide data governance implementations and workflows.
• Documents data governance metrics and analytic outputs.
• Identifies technology products to support data governance and cataloging.
