Accenture is seeking a senior Data Architect in the United States to design enterprise data fabric solutions across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments. You will integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, and automated data integration into a connected data layer used for analytics and AI.

You will define reference architectures, promote governance, and enable self‑service data delivery. Travel up to 100% may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• 4+ years designing data fabric solutions (virtualization, metadata, knowledge graphs).
• 4+ years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery).
• 3+ years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata tooling.
• 3+ years with API and streaming architectures.
• 1+ year serving utilities sector or related regulatory/finance context.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 12+ years work experience if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified, automated access across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging into a connected data layer for analytics and AI.
• Define reference architectures, patterns, and governance for enterprise scale.
• Enable self‑service data consumption and real‑time data delivery through the fabric.
• Apply data mesh and data product concepts across client solutions.
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted data modernization advisor.
