Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions spanning on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments. You will integrate data virtualization, active metadata, and knowledge graphs to create a connected data layer powering analytics and AI, while defining scalable reference architectures and governance patterns.

You will enable self‑service data products and real‑time delivery, apply data mesh concepts with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse and BigQuery,

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• Minimum 4 years architecting data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, automated integration).
• Minimum 4 years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Minimum 3 years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling.
• Minimum 3 years with API and streaming architectures.
• Minimum 1 year serving utilities clients or in utilities finance/regulatory function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years’ work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified access to distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments.
• Design integration of data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, and automated data integration.
• Define reference architectures, patterns, and governance across the enterprise.
• Enable self‑service data products and real‑time data delivery through the fabric.
• Apply data mesh and data product concepts with cloud platforms and streaming architectures.
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted advisor on major data modernization pursuits.
