Job summary

Accenture is seeking a data architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions that provide unified, intelligent access to distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments. You will shape reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance for scalable analytics and AI.

The role emphasizes data products, self‑service delivery, and modern data paradigms like data mesh. Travel up to 0–100% may be required depending on client engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• 4+ years architecting data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, automated data integration).
• 4+ years in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• 3+ years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling.
• 3+ years with API and streaming architectures.
• 1+ year serving utilities clients or related function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years’ work experience). If Associate’s Degree, equivalent 6 years work exp.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified access across on-prem and multi-cloud.
• Design the connected data layer: data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging, automated integration.
• Define scalable reference architectures and governance patterns.
• Enable self-service data consumption and real-time delivery via the fabric.
• Advise client architects and leadership as a trusted advisor.
