Job summary

Martin's Point Health Care Inc. is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Engineering to oversee data engineering, architecture, and database teams.

The role focuses on maintaining an on-prem SQL Server environment while guiding a strategic migration to Azure Cloud and Databricks. You will lead initiatives to standardize engineering practices, re-platform SSIS workflows, and collaborate with IT, Analytics, and business partners to enable enterprise reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive engineering experience across data engineering, architecture, or database administration.
• Hands-on with Azure Cloud and Databricks or similar distributed data platforms.
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for data engineering, integrations, database administration, and architecture teams.
• Maintain and optimize on-prem SQL Server environment, including performance tuning and reliability.
• Lead migration of data platforms and pipelines to Azure Cloud and Databricks.
• Define and maintain engineering standards, patterns, and development practices.
• Guide re-platforming of SSIS workflows and legacy transformations to cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with IT, Analytics, and business partners to design scalable data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Support resource planning, roadmap development, and budget forecasting.
• Oversee documentation, disaster recovery planning, and lifecycle management.

Education
