The Data Analyst will serve as the business liaison to define data requirements, definitions, and downstream use, working with technical partners and data stewards to ensure needs are clearly defined and met by data. The role emphasizes collaboration, data quality improvements, and governance across business units,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis
• Experience with Master Data Management solutions; preferred Informatica P360/C360
• Attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with large amounts of data
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Customer-focused and collaborative attitude

Responsibilities

• Promote the integrity of Patterson’s data across the enterprise to support transactional processes and analytical reporting
• Serve as the business liaison to understand data requirements, definitions, and downstream use and business impacts
• Collaborate with technical partners, business stakeholders, and data stewards to ensure needs are clearly defined and met by data
• Maintain and enforce enterprise data definitions and metadata
• Create data requirements and data mapping documents for processes or projects
• Assist in designing master data entry processes with data stewards to improve efficiency
• Analyze data and recommend quality improvements
• Document data definitions and entry processes to aid training and support data entry teams
• Perform other duties as assigned
