Enterprise Data Analyst | 100% Remote (WFH) Opportunity
General SummaryOur Enterprise Data Analyst will assist EMPLOYERS to define, capture, format, manage, and leverage our data assets. We're looking for someone with an understanding of basic data governance, DataOps, and/or data management principles and processes for our enterprise data program. This position is for an individual who is enthusiastic about data with experience creating, documenting, and sharing procedures/best practices across diverse teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work closely with the Enterprise Data Program Manager to design, establish, and monitor data governance / data management procedures
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the proper definition, documentation, and use of data for all projects / initiatives
- Drive employee engagement through effective communication and training across all divisions / teams
- Perform administrative functions for data governance / data management tools that manage and monitor data quality
Requirements- 2+ year of experience in data governance, administration, or usage (such as in a BI/Analytics team)
- Understanding of data governance and management tools/processes and the associated need across functions
- Understanding of information management practices including data lifecycle management, data profiling, master data management, and carrying out business audits/requirements gathering
- Working knowledge of data quality improvement programs, data mapping/migration, data profiling, and data management approaches
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and other similar consumer data regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Highest level of integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Preferred, But Not Required
- Knowledge of Insurance industry, with preference for workers' compensation
- Data visualization experience and skills
Work Environment- Remote: This role is a remote (work from home (WFH) opportunity) and only open to candidates currently located in the United States and able to work without sponsorship.
- It requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.
- Expected Work Hours: Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
- Travel: May be required to travel to off-site location(s) to attend meetings, as necessary
