Job summary

Quantam Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise technology and security environment serving Kentucky's K-12 networks. You will collaborate with technical teams, customers, vendors, and partners to maintain and troubleshoot critical cybersecurity and infrastructure services.

The role emphasizes firewall administration, Active Directory, VPN, DNS, Microsoft 365 security, and enterprise security operations, with incident response and vulnerability

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security technologies, including Defender.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory environments and VPN solutions.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and security audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise firewalls, including rule configuration and troubleshooting.
• Administer and support a large-scale Microsoft Active Directory environment.
• Manage enterprise VPN solutions, including changes, upgrades and patching.
• Support cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives as a technical project resource.
• Manage enterprise DNS infrastructure and DNS-related issues.
• Support DDoS mitigation services within a Managed Security Services environment.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents using Defender technologies.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for security and infrastructure issues.
• Lead or participate in technical troubleshooting sessions and customer discussions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customer IT staff.
