Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced professional to support its Enterprise Continuity program, driving emergency response, business continuity lifecycle management, and external partner engagement.

You will report to leadership, develop metrics, and lead projects to mature the program, including crisis management and cyber recovery planning, while working in a hybrid model with on-site collaboration three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of security experience, focus and expertise in incident and crisis management.
• Business Continuity professional certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), CBCP, or MBCI membership.

Responsibilities

• Develop metrics and data collection procedures to measure program maturity progress.
• Generate and analyze timely reports to direct leadership and senior leaders.
• Lead key projects to improve processes and test crisis management and business continuity activities.
• Support the Enterprise Continuity strategic roadmap and partner engagement.
• Maintain the Enterprise Continuity services catalog and digital presence.
• Contribute to design of continuity tools and training across the organization.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate continuity and resilience awareness training.
• Support implementation of Enterprise Response Center and BCM initiatives.
• Coordinate BC exercise requirements to align with standards.
• Participate in end-to-end cyber recovery planning and execution.
• Support supplier continuity reporting and artifacts updates.
