Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Head of Compliance to provide enterprise-wide leadership for regulatory and corporate compliance, reporting to the General Counsel. The role oversees licensing, risk programs, policy development, and training across all jurisdictions.

We require 15+ years in compliance with deep regulatory expertise in insurance/financial services, and executive-level communication. Join a team focused on ethical conduct, governance, and strategic risk oversight across CRC Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
• Master’s degree, JD or another advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 15+ years in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or related function.
• Senior compliance leadership with enterprise-wide program experience across units.
• Deep expertise in insurance and financial services regulatory requirements.
• Experience engaging with regulators, counsel, and industry bodies.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for enterprise compliance function and standards across jurisdictions.
• Lead licensing, surplus lines, financial crimes, QA, market security, and agency appointments.
• Partner with General Counsel and executives to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Develop and improve enterprise-wide monitoring and audit programs; ensure remediation.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable state and federal regulatory obligations.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry groups.
• Lead development and implementation of compliance-driven policies across regions.
• Champion ethical conduct and accountability; advocate for compliance excellence.
• Develop, coach, and build a pipeline of compliance talent across teams.
• Create training and policy review programs to address E&O risk exposure.
• Contribute to strategic planning and participate in external regulatory forums.
