Job summary

Harvard Medical School is seeking an Enterprise Services Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to the team, supporting, implementing, and optimizing critical IT infrastructure. You’ll work with cloud platforms, manage virtualization, and oversee Windows Server environments to support scalable designs and policies.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help document operations using ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ post‑secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Proficient in cloud technologies and VMware virtualization.
• Familiarity with automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
• Relevant certifications like VCP or Windows Server are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure with security and cost optimization.
• Oversee VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related components daily operations.
• Configure VMs, templates, clusters, and storage in VMware and VDI/AVD.
• Install and manage Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud, VMware, and Windows Server tech.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation using ServiceNow.
