Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build scalable, flexible cloud architectures. They collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services, ensuring solutions meet enterprise needs.

As a trusted customer advocate, you’ll help organizations migrate workloads to the cloud, craft modern target architectures, and share best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or related domains.
• 6+ years in IT development or consultative roles in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders as a trusted technical adviser.
• Engage in architecture and design discussions to create scalable AWS-based solutions.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and POCs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute a strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders to enable cloud adoption.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel regionally at about 15-20%.
