Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of five years of software and/or infrastructure engineering experience.
• At least three years of hands‑on design and maintenance experience with cloud‑based solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices‑based architecture and multi‑tier cloud applications.
• Experience designing high‑volume and high‑availability/disaster‑recovery architectures, including application servers, databases, and hardware.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to articulate concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical solutions for all retail occasions, including Orders & Payments, Retail Inventory, Order Fulfillment, Store Operations, and Store Support.
• Design and automate cloud‑native platforms, encompassing IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services such as virtual machines, cloud services, containers, web and data services.
• Develop and promote models, guiding principles, practices, and governance to integrate new technologies and analytics into solutions.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineering leaders to improve the partner and customer experience through shared roadmaps and partnerships.
• Create architecture artifacts for shop technology solutions, including high‑level and solution architecture, logical and physical data reference models, and sequence diagrams.
• Influence the strategic direction of retail store technologies through active product and program engagement.
• Work with stakeholders across technology and business to understand pain points, define objectives, and specify solution requirements.
