Starbucks is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect, Partner Technology to define future‑state architecture enabling partner experiences across the enterprise. You will translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and drive transformational initiatives with cross‑functional teams worldwide.

You will mentor architects, shape standards, and govern decisions while advancing AI‑enabled partner experiences and secure, scalable solutions for Starbucks partners globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading large‑scale enterprise technology solutions.
• 7+ years in enterprise, business, or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in architecture strategy, roadmapping, and governance.
• Experience leading enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive change across large organizations.
• Expertise in cloud‑native architecture, integrations, security, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define multi‑year business and technology roadmaps across Partner Technology capabilities.
• Establish target‑state architectures aligned with enterprise goals and strategy.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for modernization.
• Lead architectural strategy for domains like workforce management, payroll, and AI.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to shape initiatives from concept through execution.
• Drive major transformation programs and platform modernization efforts.
• Lead architectural evaluations, proofs‑of‑concepts, and technology assessments.
• Influence enterprise investment priorities through technology strategy and business cases.
• Define architecture patterns and guardrails for AI‑enabled partner experiences.
• Partner with AI, data, security, and engineering teams to drive responsible adoption.
• Provide governance through architecture review boards and reference architectures.
• Identify cross‑functional dependencies and ensure long‑term objectives are met.
• Develop reusable patterns to accelerate delivery across the enterprise.
• Mentor architects and engineering leaders and foster a culture of innovation.
