Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Worldwide Public Sector in Dallas, TX to help enterprise customers migrate and modernize their workloads on AWS. You will design target architectures, assess existing applications, and lead migration plans with customer and partner teams.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, CSMs, and professional services to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions and drive success through the Migration Acceleration Program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Create, articulate and position migration value propositions for AWS.
• Define and execute technical migration strategies with AWS teams and partners.
• Deliver modern architectures (microservices, event-driven) using managed services.
