Job summary

HDR is seeking a Client Experience Director to lead HDR's enterprise-wide client experience strategy and drive improvements that strengthen relationships and outcomes across the organization.

The role focuses on translating client insights into actionable plans, fostering a client-centered culture, and delivering measurable impact through governance, metrics, and cross‑functional collaboration. This in-office role can be based at any HDR location in the US.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading large cross-functional strategic programs.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate client insights into strategic and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide client experience program and governance.
• Advise and coach leaders on client feedback and relationships.
• Oversee Client Feedback System and measure key metrics (NPS, loyalty).
• Develop tools and standards to scale client experience capabilities.
