Job summary

HDR is seeking a Client Experience Director to lead our enterprise-wide client experience strategy and related initiatives, shaping client loyalty and long-term growth. The role partners with business groups, operations, marketing, project delivery, client service, and corporate leaders to translate client insights into action and continuous improvement across the organization.

This is an in-office position based in the US, with HDR locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, organizational leadership, engineering, architecture, or related field is preferred.
• Experience leading large cross-functional strategic programs across complex organizations.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate client, market, and organizational insights into both strategic and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide client experience program and strategic initiatives.
• Advise leaders on client feedback, relationship strategies, and action plans.
• Oversee client feedback systems, metrics like NPS and loyalty.
• Develop tools and standards for enterprise client experience capabilities.
