Job summary

HDR is seeking a Client Experience Director to lead enterprise-wide client experience strategy and governance across HDR. The role partners with business groups, operations, marketing, project delivery, and leaders to turn insights into action and improve outcomes.

The position is an in-office, US-based role with focus on client relationships, CX program leadership, and performance measurement. A strong communications background and 15+ years in A/E/C are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, organizational leadership, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading large cross-functional programs or initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate client, market, and organizational insights into strategic and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead HDR’s enterprise-wide client experience program and governance.
• Advocate for the Voice of the Client in strategic decision-making.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and deploy client feedback systems.
• Build a client-centric culture and strengthen client relationships.
• Oversee client feedback system, metrics like NPS, loyalty, retention, and health.
