Job summary

Forrester Research, Inc. is seeking a Principal Analyst to lead our Enterprise Solutions Architecture practice. This role serves CIOs, CTOs and IT Leaders with a mix of strategic and practical research to improve technology outcomes.

You will drive 8–12 research projects annually, collaborate across research, sales, product and customer success, and help clients apply insights to their environment. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise architecture or senior advisory roles.
Strong client-facing communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Proven ability to translate complex topics into actionable research.
Willingness to travel 30% or more.

Responsibilities

Lead the Enterprise Solutions Architecture practice across Forrester research teams.
Develop a complete research portfolio that drives customer delight and revenue.
Establish industry presence as a speaker and writer; engage with media and vendors as needed.
Conduct primary research into architecture strategy, platforms, governance, and cost optimization.
Write high-quality, actionable research content throughout the year (8–12 projects).
Drive and lead key Forrester Waves and Landscape reporting.
Consult with clients to apply research to their business context.
Present at events and deliver client webinars.
Co-lead the global Forrester Enterprise Architecture forum and awards.
