Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead the Enterprise Data Organization’s architecture strategy. The role focuses on unifying architectures across business, capability, information, technical, and solution domains, guiding project teams, and shaping enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to define vision, manage transformative programs, and ensure alignment with blueprints, patterns, and governance. Hybrid work in the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Influence and partner with senior product, technology, and business leaders to align technology decisions with investment priorities.
• Deep expertise in data architecture and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Strategic mindset with understanding of data and software lifecycle to support enterprise needs.
• 12+ years in enterprise architecture leading initiatives and driving business value.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus; architecture certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance and governance of enterprise architectures across domains.
• Guide delivery of architecture direction for strategic initiatives across EDO.
• Develop architectural approaches and manage large-scale transformation programs.
• Provide guidance for initiatives and designs ensuring alignment with standards and blueprints.
• Document and publish DAB decisions and rationale; escalate to EARB as needed.
• Identify gaps and enhance architecture frameworks, roadmaps and patterns.
• Engage with central EA office to drive community engagement and knowledge sharing.
