Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect within the Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) to lead architecture across data, information, and solution domains. The role focuses on developing strategy, guiding project teams, and aligning architecture with business goals in a global, hybrid environment.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to define standards, manage large-scale transformation programs, and ensure architecture artifacts are documented and shared.

Qualifications

• Influence and partner with Senior Product, Technology, and Business leaders to align technology & architectural decisions with investment prioritization.
• Deep expertise in core architectural domains: Data Architecture, Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Strategic partnership lens with understanding of the data & software lifecycle to support EDO needs.
• Expertise in developing clear Points of View on technology, industry, and market trends and their potential enterprise impact.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, governance, and enterprise-wide architectures across business, capability, information, technical, and solution domains.
• Guide and govern delivery of architecture guidance to project teams and establish architectural direction for key initiatives.
• Develop architectural approach & principles and manage large-scale transformation programs.
• Provide architectural guidance for initiatives and solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and elevating decisions when needed.
• Ensure DAB decisions, rationales, and standards are documented and communicated effectively.
• Identify gaps in architectural assets and help enhance frameworks, blueprints, roadmaps, and design patterns.
• Conduct quarterly capability reviews to inform the EARB view for the TLT.
• Support asset owners to develop standards and resolve challenges with their applications.
• Engage with the central EA office to drive community engagement and knowledge sharing.
