Job summary

GDOT IT is seeking a visionary Chief Enterprise Architect in Atlanta, GA. You will lead enterprise architecture initiatives, guide architects across security, data, applications, and infrastructure, and partner with the CIO/CTO and PMO to drive modernization and strategic IT outcomes for Georgia's transportation ecosystem.

Qualifications

• TOGAF and Zachman framework expertise required.
• Leadership experience in enterprise architecture programs.
• Experience guiding enterprise architecture across security, data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Ability to establish Communities of Practice, Centers of Excellence, and Architectural Review Boards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a forward-thinking enterprise architecture strategy aligned to GDOT's mission.
• Lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Architects and Solutions Architects across domains.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals and transportation needs.
• Foster collaboration and governance through Communities of Practice, Centers of Excellence, and Architectural Review Boards.
• Engage stakeholders across leadership, customers, and frontline staff to inform architectural decisions.
