Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC is seeking a visionary Chief Enterprise Technology Architect to lead GDOT IT architectural initiatives. You will shape the enterprise architecture, drive innovation, and align IT with Georgia's transportation goals, reporting to the CIO.

Local onsite requirements apply with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite). The role emphasizes strategic leadership, collaboration with executives, and governance of standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, preferably government/transport sectors.
• Strong understanding of TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all levels.
• Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cloud, data analytics and emerging tech like AI/IoT.
• Knowledge of transportation systems and smart city concepts is a plus.
• Ability to align IT initiatives with organizational missions and goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a forward-looking enterprise architecture strategy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT with business goals.
• Foster innovation and knowledge sharing within the IT division.
• Lead standards development and governance for architecture.
• -drive research initiatives and PoC projects to test new tech.
