We are seeking a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect for an onsite contract (W-2) engagement in Houston, TX. You will define and govern the enterprise architecture across business, data, application, and technology domains, translating business strategy into target-state architecture and an actionable roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current-state and target-state architecture using TOGAF/ADM and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Own architecture roadmaps, capability models, and reference architectures across business, data, application, and technology layers
- Chair and support the architecture review board; define architecture principles, standards, and governance
- Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology investments with business outcomes
- Guide cloud, integration, and modernisation strategy, including build-vs-buy and platform selection decisions
- Review solution designs for alignment with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and total cost of ownership
- Produce architecture artefacts and decision records, and present trade-offs to executive stakeholders
Work mode: This is a 100% onsite role in Houston, TX — no remote or hybrid option.
Employment: Contract on our W-2 only. Candidates must hold independent work authorisation (no third-party employer or sponsorship arrangement). Rate depends on experience.
