Job summary

Josh Pros LLC is seeking a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect for a 100% onsite contract in Houston, TX. The role covers business, data, application and technology domains, translating strategy into target-state architecture and an actionable roadmap.

You will own roadmaps, governance, and reference architectures, collaborating with business and IT leadership to align tech investments with outcomes. 100% onsite; W-2 contract; rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• TOGAF certification (active) required.
• Proven Enterprise Architect experience across business, data, application and technology domains.
• Hands-on experience building target-state architectures and multi-year roadmaps.
• Experience with cloud architecture and modernization of legacy estates.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect for an onsite contract (W-2) engagement in Houston, TX. You will define and govern the enterprise architecture across business, data, application, and technology domains, translating business strategy into target-state architecture and an actionable roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current-state and target-state architecture using TOGAF/ADM and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Own architecture roadmaps, capability models, and reference architectures across business, data, application, and technology layers
• Chair and support the architecture review board; define architecture principles, standards, and governance
• Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology investments with business outcomes
• Guide cloud, integration, and modernisation strategy, including build-vs-buy and platform selection decisions
• Review solution designs for alignment with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and total cost of ownership
• Produce architecture artefacts and decision records, and present trade-offs to executive stakeholders

Work mode: This is a 100% onsite role in Houston, TX — no remote or hybrid option.

Employment: Contract on our W-2 only. Candidates must hold independent work authorisation (no third-party employer or sponsorship arrangement). Rate depends on experience.
