We are seeking a visionary and experienced Enterprise Architect, Standards & Lifecycle Management to lead the development, governance, and execution of technology standards and lifecycle strategies across our global enterprise. This role will be based in Raritan, NJ.

This role is pivotal in driving modernization, ensuring compliance, minimizing technical debt, and aligning our technology landscape with enterprise goals. As a key leader within our Architecture Operations and Standards team, you will enable secure, scalable, and future-ready technology solutions through best-in-class standards and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Standards & Lifecycle Management

  • Define, publish, and govern enterprise-wide technology standards across software, hardware, SaaS, and PaaS
  • Establish and maintain lifecycle roadmaps by technology domain in alignment with EA strategy
  • Drive quarterly review and validation of standards with domain architects, SMEs, and service owners
  • Lead ALM/TLM (Application and Technology Lifecycle Management) processes and governance for Technology Services
  • Deliver technology compliance dashboards, risk assessments, and scorecards to ensure transparency and accountability

Architecture Strategy & Collaboration

  • Develop reference architectures across key domains including Cloud, Data, Security, and Applications
  • Partner with domain architects, BT stakeholders, and platform/service leaders to ensure alignment and reuse of standards
  • Champion modernization initiatives through TIME-based assessments (Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, Eliminate) and remediation strategies

Governance & Communication

  • Lead and facilitate TS Architecture Roundtables and EA governance forums
  • Maintain and publish documentation in LeanIX, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms
  • Drive adoption of standards through onboarding programs, stakeholder training, and enablement sessions

Strategic Execution & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage and execute EA-driven transformation programs aligned with TS and enterprise priorities
  • Integrate industry trends and innovation into architecture planning and lifecycle decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering, service owners, and portfolio leaders to improve service maturity and architecture effectiveness
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (required)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, AWS/Azure Architect, or Lean Six Sigma (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Standards Management, or related IT leadership roles
  • Proven success in implementing enterprise-wide standards and lifecycle strategies
  • Strong program management skills, with ability to lead complex initiatives across functions, manage priorities, and ensure timely delivery
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as LeanIX, ServiceNow, and Flexera
  • Familiarity with ALM/TLM frameworks, TIME assessments, and technical debt governance

Skills:

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management in a global, matrixed environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strategic thinker with deep knowledge of IT governance, lifecycle planning, and architecture best practices

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$100,000-$172,500

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
