Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking an Architect III to join the Enterprise Architecture team in Phoenix. You will lead architectural priorities, participate in the Architecture Standards Board and Technology Review Board, and manage the domain's business capability inventory and standards.

Collaborate with business, product, and IT teams to ensure designs are safe, secure, compliant, and scalable. You will review solution architectures in TRB and drive the adoption of patterns and reference

Qualifications

10+ years of related experience preferably with enterprise architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
Advanced experience in architecture functions including reference architectures & patterns, governance related to Application Development, Cloud Compute, Storage and Networking.
Advanced understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Act as an advocate & evangelist of architecture principles, standards, and patterns across the organization.
Identify, propose, & lead opportunities to advance capabilities through new technology and reuse of existing products.
Develop viewpoints for domain problems and articulate options to leadership.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to enable value-added capabilities.
Gain knowledge of current state business processes and technology ecosystem.
Review solution architecture designs in TRB and ensure alignment with standards.
Drive agile & DevOps/FinOps delivery models.
Communicate effectively with executives and engineering teams.
