Job summary

VortexLegal is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to define the firm’s technology vision and build a three-to-five-year transformation roadmap. Reporting to the CIO, you will shape end-to-end architecture across cloud, infrastructure, applications, data, AI, integrations, and cybersecurity.

This role blends strategy with hands-on road-mapping and impactful governance to reduce debt and accelerate responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology and architecture leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation in complex enterprises.
• Deep expertise spanning cloud, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, analytics, and AI.
• Track record of designing target-state architectures and practical modernization roadmaps.
• Judgment to balance innovation, operational needs, investment priorities, and risk.
• Executive presence to advise senior leadership and influence decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and governance.
• Develop current-state, target-state, and transition architectures.
• Create multi-year technology and modernization roadmaps.
• Lead cloud transformation, resiliency, and business continuity initiatives.
• Oversee application modernization, SaaS platforms, APIs, and integrations.
• Provide enterprise data architecture, analytics, and AI enablement guidance.
• Embed security-by-design, Zero Trust, privacy, and compliance across projects.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to accelerate transformation.
