Job summary

AHRI in Arlington, VA is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape the organization’s IT architecture and technology strategy. You will collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to design enterprise-level architectures and maintain a strategic IT roadmap aligned with AHRI’s mission.

You will mentor teams, enforce standards, and evaluate new technologies while partnering with management at all levels. This role offers strong benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems architecture and/or designing technology solutions.
• Minimum of five years architecting Microsoft Azure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and product owners to design and maintain enterprise architecture.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks within the IT portfolio.
• Develop and maintain a strategic IT roadmap aligned with objectives.
• Establish reference architectures, standards, roadmaps, and development methodologies.
• Enforce IT standards to promote consistent use of technology.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and artifacts.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and techniques.
• Mentor development resources on adoption of relevant technology.
