Position Description
Enterprise Architects (EA) are key technical resources focused on the ongoing delivery of solutions to support the growth of the client’s software business. The EA will develop a comprehensive understanding of the assigned products' capabilities and intended use. As a technical advisor, the EA assists Sales, Customers, and Support teams by providing technological expertise and operational knowledge of the restaurant industry to ensure hardware and software solutions are correctly configured to meet deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales to develop scalable, adaptable enterprise solutions aligned with changing business needs.
- Conduct requirements analysis to understand current infrastructure and future needs.
- Provide remote support for Customer Labs and live stores to develop repeatable implementation processes.
- Lead technical and implementation efforts.
- Manage deployments and maintenance, including designing, testing, and maintaining solutions like menus, online and mobile ordering, and other cloud services.
- Work with customers to develop solutions meeting their requirements and provide training on database and configuration maintenance.
- Maintain knowledge of customer operations to facilitate problem resolution and support training.
- Support sales through demonstrations, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
- Participate in technical meetings and contribute to policies, standards, and guidelines for IT within the client’s enterprise.
- Create educational materials and LMS modules for training sales and support teams.
- Use independent judgment to interpret information, manage deviations, and resolve problems.
Skills and Abilities Needed
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Systems thinking and understanding of how parts interact within a whole.
- Knowledge of the business domain relevant to enterprise architecture.
- Strong knowledge of application design, database tools, and industry-specific computer applications preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Effective training and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with experience in multi-unit implementations.
- Commitment to ongoing learning about technology and security in the restaurant and retail industries.
