$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Are you an experienced Senior Advisor, IT Telecom Engineering with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor, IT Telecom Engineering to work at their company in Round Rock, TX.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Focuses on service management discipline within the environment to minimize impact to the business Performs tasks relating to telecommunication operations, installation and/or maintenance for local, off-site and/or remote locations Designs, configures, deploys, tests, maintains, monitors and trouble‑shoots telecommunication voice/video components to provide a secure, high performance voice/video network Documents and maintains global/ITIL standards and processes and the development of specifications, records, form layouts, etc.
  • Analyses and translates business requirements and user needs into engineering, design, and technical specifications to support telecommunications infrastructure. Develops and maintains vendor and internal/external customer relationships. Prepares cost estimates for current and proposed telecommunications activities. Confers with and advises on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods and the use of telecommunications. May take responsibility for network convergence work streams
  • Designs, plans, and leads the implementation of large and complex telecommunication systems. Provides advanced technical guidance regarding technology and proposed upgrades to equipment. Conducts technical feasibility studies on the more complex projects and may oversee simpler studies Acts as project leader with projects of short to moderate duration and with limited budgets. Consistently applies business knowledge in the design of telecommunication solutions
  • May occasionally assign work or provide direction to less experienced team members. Works on larger and more important telecommunication projects or more than one project at a time. May be responsible for complex network convergence projects if applicable
  • Provide Audiovisual services to support conference room systems, meetings, and video conferencing requirements across the organisation.
  • Assist in supporting the day‑to‑day operation, including set‑up, operation and testing, maintenance, inventory, and security of all AV equipment and conference rooms.
  • Lead the coordination and commissioning of new and upgraded AV systems across the company and assist in the preparation of assessments on the condition of the equipment, budgets for equipment replacements, and new purchases.
  • Manage AV service vendors and integrators to ensure project and support is delivered as defined
  • Provide oversight and coordination with Facilities and Information Technology during the construction of new conference rooms.
  • Performing duties leveraging elevated privileged access in Zoom, Teams, Pexip, etc. to manage and support the global estate
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Meeting Rooms & Zoom Rooms via PC based solutions
  • Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure appropriate, secure, and compliant usage of AV technologies across the company.
  • Provide training and associated materials to all users relating to effective use of the AV technologies, including room and desktop systems.
  • Assist in the AV strategy within our company by staying on top of AV technology trends and introducing new capabilities and features where appropriate.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all AV devices used within (Creston, Biamp, Shure, Teams, and Zoom)
  • Knowledge of AV signal flow
  • Knowledge of AV-over‑IP (Dante, NDI, etc.)
  • Project, Customer, & Documentation
  • Communicates with customers and stakeholders in facilities, IT, & other business areas
  • Provides training to end users on the basic operation of the installed technology
  • Supports room technologies & relevant services for C‑suite, Executive Leadership, SVP, VPs, & others

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting AV in an enterprise
  • Voice Endpoint registration, configuration and tenant management
  • Proven experience in Crestron products, OneBeyond, AutomateVX, & Controllers
  • Proven experience in Windows OS to deploy & troubleshoot audio, video, real time communication technologies relevant to our collaboration service
  • Certifications: CTS‑I (Required), CTS‑D (preferred)
