Job summary

Corus International is seeking an Enterprise Applications Developer in Washington, DC, hybrid role. You will develop and integrate internal business applications and automated workflows, partnering with business users to translate needs into scalable solutions within a secure, compliant framework.

You will build tools using Power Apps, Power Automate, Office Scripts, SharePoint Online, and Azure AD, while supporting CI/CD pipelines and end‑to‑end testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in software development and automation.
• Experience gathering requirements from business users and translating to technical solutions.
• Experience developing on the Microsoft 365 platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Office Scripts) and SharePoint Online.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and version control for internal apps.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a user-facing role.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python for custom apps and automation.
• Familiarity with Azure services and Azure AD and related APIs for integration.
• Understanding secure development practices including SAML, OAuth2, MSAL.
• Ability to design AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise solutions with governance and security.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure Static Web Apps, and automation tooling.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise applications and automated workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Build secure integrations using APIs across platforms like M365, SharePoint, Azure AD, Salesforce, SQL.
• Design tools using Power Apps, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and PowerShell with coding standards.
• Automate workflows using Power Automate and Office Scripts with robust error handling and logging.
• Manage source control and participate in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure).
• Write and execute unit and integration tests; document results and defects.
• Provide routine application support by triaging tickets and incidents.
• Create technical documentation including runbooks, data mappings, API references, end-user guides.
• Apply least privilege and data-protection practices; adhere to security/change management.
• Collaborate with product owners to maintain backlogs and align user needs with delivery.
• Build strong user relationships to promote adoption and continuous improvement of enterprise apps.
