Job summary

Orrick seeks a Deployment Applications Engineer I to join the Global Operations & Innovation Center in Wheeling, WV. You will support on-premises and cloud apps, assist with AI and Copilot features, and work with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions.

The role involves second-level support, change management, and documentation, with occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years supporting enterprise applications and Microsoft technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure, and Intune.
• Knowledge of VDI/VDI tools such as AVD or Citrix.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, administration, and operation of on-premises and cloud apps.
• Provide second-level application support; investigate incidents and coordinate resolutions.
• Plan and execute changes and releases per change-management standards.
• Gather requirements and help evaluate applications to improve productivity and client service.
• Provision laptops/desktops and guide provisioning.
• Support deployment, management, and troubleshooting of VDI and published apps.
• Assist with AI and Copilot capabilities through configuration and guidance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and records.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call as required.
