Job summary

The City of Sarasota's Information Technology department seeks an Application Administrator to maintain reliability, security, and performance of critical systems. You will manage on-premises Active Directory and cloud identities, configure MFA, and oversee email security, backups, and disaster recovery in a 24/7 environment.

This on-site role transitions to remote three days per week after six months, with focus on Azure, VMware, Nimble storage, and SaaS integrations, collaborating with cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, MIS, or similar field.
• Four years’ experience in applications support, cloud, SaaS or Office 365 management, and systems administration.
• Experience with identity services, MFA, email security, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Oversees on-premises and Azure AD administration and synchronization with Office 365.
• Manages disaster recovery services and cloud-based DR solutions.
• Provides technical guidance for Enterprise SaaS and IT applications.
• Maintains data integrity, security, and performance of enterprise systems.
• Collaborates with cloud vendors and stakeholders to ensure continuity.
