Job summary

East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, seeks an IT administrator to provide technical administration, support, and lifecycle management for enterprise applications within the Admin Systems team of ITCS. You will deploy software updates and maintain existing systems to support thousands of students and staff.

Work with campus partners to translate business needs into practical technical solutions, participate in upgrades, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in IT; or Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year experience; or Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/math or related field; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

Provide technical administration, support, and lifecycle management for admin enterprise applications.
Design, install, test, configure, and maintain applications and related services; deploy updates and maintain existing systems.
Collaborate with campus partners to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Serve as a primary technical resource for assigned applications and participate in change management processes.
Offer backup support for other team applications, contribute to documentation, and participate in team projects.
Adjust work schedule, including evenings/weekends, to meet position requirements.
